on some big maps that have big enough airfields i think it would be a good idea to have like big cargo planes like c-130s but they would probably have to have longer warm up times like 45sec-1min

on top of that i think you should also incorporate like a paratropper clase that can be aquired from the plane itself

and maybe even have it as a mobile spawn point so the pilot wont have to land constantly

Concerning realism, the maps aren't large enough to have heavy planes spawning at airfields.

Regarding logistics, AFAIK IRL cargo planes like the C-130 fly between major bases and helicopters go the rest of the way to smaller bases/outposts.

Bombers are very long range aircraft that wouldn't actually take off or land on the frontline so they wouldn't fit into PR at all.

IMO having 2 opposing airfields within 16km2 is stretching reality enough as it is, regardless of the aircraft sizes.

Using C-130s that you can spawn in (when not full of 8 players) for paradrops might work in PR (does in DCon). It wouldn't make sense for the plane to take off from an airfield on the map but maybe it could somehow be AI controlled and fly in circles (like the vBF2 UAVs).

It has been said before there is not space for a big plane. It does not really serve much purpose as the max number of people we can have in a vehicle is 8 people.

The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.
