Favorite type of map

Desert warfare has to be my favourite, I love the huge open spaces, and flying transport on Kashan has to be one of the funnest things I've ever done in PR.

You missed an option: rural, which would have gotten my vote. With rural you have open spaces, forests and little villages.

Woodlands and urban maps are not optimal because they provide continous cover. It is difficult to get a good hold on an area. This makes the game less strategic as there are less decisive moments during play.

Desert maps are only good to practice your skill with using and organizing assets.

Qwai is rural and provides the opportunity to think about supply lines defensive positions that can actually control a flag and setting up attacks to take a flag with a decisive result. (Although it does have other shortcomings.)

Urban is the best imo, Getting dropped on rooftops and having rooftop firefights and having firefights on streets is just plain fun.

Desert for me. desert maps are a real no brainier easy relaxing map type to play if you know what your doing, in the desert it difficult to get to close to your enemy so there is a very convertible distance between him and you.

I don't liked urban map's in PR because this mod was never really good for urban warfare. you can't lean round corners, You allowed to no scopes, your forced to expose your self very heavily to enemy fire in this game because of the way BF2 infantry movement was originally made and there for you can't take cover very well.

When I think of Fallujah West I voted for Urban maps. Its one of my favorite maps, it just looks so great!
And desert, when I think of Operation Archer

Urban Maps are very good, but myfavourite is Jungle maps! Hiding in that long grass until an enemy squad turns up then ambushing them Veitnam Style - classic.

Trench Warfare also sounds fun, especialy with Russians, "For Mother Russia, Not one step backwards!" xD
