Guide Password Protected?

Whenever I click the "Guide" link at the top of the page I get a little prompt box asking for a username and password. Why is this and why is it happening? (I am assuming the "Guide" is a explanation of the game such as weapons, game types, vehicles, and how to do various things. Am I correct in that assumption?)
