So.. I laid down on a roof, seeing an insurgent. The roof had these low "walls" around, and small parts of nothing. When I shot through that hole from straight ahead, no problems, but when I moved to the right, I noticed that from this angle, there was an texture-fail or something, because the bullet-hole is pinned at nothing, and my bullet didn't go further.. Image explains it all..

It's important that you understand that the bulletholes are about ten centimeters in front of me, just so you don't think there's two aliens relaxing on the road.
