Question on Deviation

Post by VividSynergy »

Let's say your a sniper, and you've waited 8 seconds for minimum deviation. However, a leaf is in your view, so you tap the A key. Do you have to wait another 8 seconds? If so, that sort of sucks.

Yuhp. Every time you move via WASD, deviation resets. So move out of the way of the leaf before you've been waiting 8 seconds...

Same applies for the AR's deployment phase right? Atleast for appropiate accuracy.

It the same with all guns, if you move from side to side/forward backward you have to wait again. But the interesting thing is when you change stance the deviation stays the same, so you could go prone behind a wall pop up shoot a guy then go prone again....

Yeah although you'll still be able to go crouch < standing and vice versa without affecting deviation.

I think this could be remedied by slowing down the crouch animations which seem unrealistically fast at the moment
