I blame the fact the Q6600 is at stock :p

Ontopic: When you ran Memtest last week, was you getting BSODs then? Or was that just a routine check?

What clocks are the Flex's running at and are you pushing too aggressive timings through them?

Fair enough.

Even though memtest doesn't throw any errors up, trying playing the game with one module, if it still BSODs try the other module.

Is it only on CoD5 that you BSOD?

So is this happening all the time now or only when gaming? I'm thinking the 4870X2's memory could be borked or overheating.

Only when gaming, but not every round, soem time i can play 4hours w/o problems, and then the next day it can be after 10 min :S.... When im going to game the fan kicks in to 60% duty cycle (and i know what it is ;) (duty cycle then he :P ))

When its idleing, its aroun 50, ingame aroun 100 (witch is pretty normal for N X2 :P )

Force the fan to 100% , take the side of your case of and have another fan blowing on it. Play for a while and see if you suffer BSODs, if it does then we can rule out overheating.

X2's do get hot, and so are designed to run at that temp, but there's always the off-chance the cards BIOS is messed and tells Windows to halt when the mem goes over a certain temp.

Also, if you use GPU-Z for monitoring temps, it might have a monitor for memory.

i have always a fan blowing on it (a 200MM fan) and then the stock fan.

Ok, it's not overheating then lol.

Did you do the memtest within windows or boot from a disc?
