what i've noticed is that people don't respond to threats aggressively enough. they are too evasive and that sometimes results in most of the squad dead. it bugs the hell out of me, and i don't notice such characteristics until it's too late.

TG has teamwork on mumble and out of it 134% of the time. Check that out!
Guys, when a new player comes, just answer his question and go on your merry way, instead of going berserk! It's THAT simple! :D

Not played in two months now (need new headset), but from what I recall TW was just as healthy as ever.

Interestingly, back in .5 I made a "no teamwork in most servers" thread and got banned :p

I'm another one of those who really only plays on TG, so I definitely don't see this problem. On the other hand, I joined the PRT to get a better teamplay experience, so I can see where OP is coming from

I had a pretty good game at Tactics And Teamwork some time ago.

Also, tonight on Kozelsk (TG) there was a interesting game full (I mean full) of teamwork. Perhaps TG should get more password nights :)

BTW...

What do you mean with that? I mean I see loads of people saying "be aggressive" but how to you propose to do that? (When I get attacked when assaulting by a defence party, I normally try to fall back and flank or, depending on the situation, smoke and advance, the later being the most effective). Are you suggesting "Smoke & Assault"?

Yeah, the password night was awesome (for the most count). This was probably due to random noob players not able to just jump in and kill the teamwork... and nearly everyone was on Mumble.

I don't have anything against lonewolving per se, as long as you know what you are doing. If you have excellent knowledge of the surroundings, a good kit and plenty of first person shooter and PR experience, you can do some pretty good lone-wolving in some maps like Kozelsk, Fools road and so forth. Occasionally, your squad slows you down, gives bad suggestions, exposes your location, and so on and so forth. And large squads where everyone has a mic, sometimes tend to become too noisy. But still, the vast majority of players are better off in co-operative squads. Unlike good lonewolves, who should be experienced PR players, most lonewolves are just noobs or casual players. Lonewolving shouldn't be banned or anything, but everyone should be strongly advised to play with closely knit squads for the most part and especially early on.

Also, lets not deny the fact that the lack of teamplay often results from the lack of willing squad leaders.

There are other good servers, they just speak a different language thus most of here feel really out of place when they enter those servers.
I would not say BR/Chinese servers are out of teamwork just because I cannot speak Portuguese/China.

Agree with TG, T&T and Heros but as far as I am concerned, I had some horrible parties on 10h and ABC. On the last one, we had EJOD desert and Quai River and both maps were finished after 5min !! Occured a lot during the past few weeks.

I don't blame the servers, nor should you. It is just the players that populated them and you have to be lucky to find good teams (I wasn't lol).
The best victory is when the opponent surrenders of its own accord before there are any actual hostilities... It is best to win without fighting.

The trick imo is getting your social network up and running. (not in a gay facebook way :D ) so you know good people to play with, who are regulars on certain servers.

Tactical Gamer

Project Reality (thats the official PR xfire group)

get on mumble/TS

and win shall occur.

if you want team based gameplay TG is the place to go

but you can find plenty of squad based gameplay on T&T, UKWF, 10th, ABC etc as others have stated.

add me on xfire and I'll yell if a hot game is on - trekkyaaron

also, join alot of server's Forums!

tacticalgamer.com

realityteamwork.com

tacteam.org

etc

Depends on what server ur on, in my experince ive only really played on two T&T and UKWF, both teamwork and tacticaly sound. UKWF is more popular playing mostly AAS but its losing its touch now. Tactics and Teamwork (GB server) is my fav, its got great admins and long time regulars who turn it into a tactical/teamwork oriented game, also variuos types of maps 60% insurgency 40%other. Tea'n'Tea is more of a community rather than a clan.

Since PR got an advert posted in Vbf2 i have noticed a lack of Teamplay in PR servers. but the gamemode that has suffered is Insurgency and I hope this changes due to the Lash map coming out in 0.9 ( or ealier  ). There is very few squads play together and are usually spred out "lone wolfing".

just want to see if you guys have noticed.

Brad  .
For teamplay you need to be on a server that has regulars and become a regular yourself.

[R-DEV]dbzao wrote:Little hard to get your expected level of teamplay from the bots in PRSP... :p
Hey the bots are much more aware of their surroundings than most PR players - watch em when they r walking somewhere, they keep checking around them rather than just walking in a Conga Line of death.

But yeah - I haven't noticed at all. I played on the TG server last night and had a great time (especially when the PassWord night came in).
