.87 red dot sight slight bug (minor)

Hi there. One thing I've recurrently noticed is whenever I right click with a red dot scope equipped, the dot always come up before the sight actually reaches the center of the screen. It's definitely not that big of a problem, but it just seems so easy to delay the dot an extra half a second when you right click to fix it.

I'm afraid its a limitation of the red dot, its a sacrifice that had to be made, the alternative is a dot modelled on to the sight, but that doesn't behave as realistically.

BF2 didn't have this problem since bringing up the 2d sights was instantaneous.

Also notice that this happens with the HAT

Yep this is a BF2 problem, we had to choose between having a bright red dot as part of the HUD or a dark texture on the model. We choose the bright red because it was easier to see.



Anyways not a bug we can do anything about, closed.
