remoted detonated satchel charges

Post by Alucard »

now i searched didn't see if it was suggested yet im not exactly sure if it falls under the category of a weapon since its an explosive but explosives are weapons i suppose none that less i decided to make this post if i am in the wrong and it is a weapon please by all means delete the post so my suggestion is instead of remote detonated C4 that we look into remote detonated satchel charges mainly because this would end the endless killing spree of bomb bikes now i like bomb bikes i use them all the time but it makes for no fun on al basrah when you kill the tank and all the APC's within 20 minutes of getting the kit there for a remote detonated satchel charge would work better would it not it would not stick to things sure but this isn't bf2 where you run up to a tank and stick C4 on the tank (i have done this but its very very trick and he must not have a .50 cal gunner most of the time :-P ) just an idea like i said im prolly in the wrong and this goes under weapon/kit if so i apologize

We are not accepting equipment suggestions (this includes everything: weapons, gear and vehicles) for any factions for which we have an MA or knowledgeable people within the team.
But i agree that bomb bikes are getting annoying

What's the difference between a satchel charge and a bag of C4 with remote detonators?

The bag.

There isn't much to do about this issue, just don't use the kit if you can't be responsible with it. Insurgents / Taliban use suicide vehicles all the time.

my point being is make a satchel charge because its in a bag and it won't stick to things the problem is random noobs go out with a combat engie and give it to them its happened way to much

A resounding NO from me on this one. "Bomb bikes" are a perfectly valid tactic; insurgents pack vehicles with explosives and send them at Coalition forces all the time.

A quick search for 'suicide motorcycle' and 'motorcycle VBIED' yielded these results:

Motorcycle suicide attack kills 55 in Pakistan tribal belt - Hurriyet Daily News and Economic Review

VBIED wounds 17 Iraqi civilians (Tamim Province) | United States Forces - Iraq

Also i have never actually encountered a Covnentional force suicide vehicle apart from once and that was from a tard of the tard clans. C4 has many uses for sticking to objects, urban traps mainly spring to mind.

Does the word IED have a spot in your vocabulary?

If you are talking to the OP... he's suggesting that to conventional forces :) which afaik don't use IEDs since they are pretty unreliable.
Guys, when a new player comes, just answer his question and go on your merry way, instead of going berserk! It's THAT simple! :D

replaceing c4 with a this "bag" would just mean that c4 doesn't stick to vehicles anymore. why not just make the c4's propertys like the ieds?

gameplay comes first and giving the insurgents the CE kit = YouTube - UNLIMITED POWER

not necessarily, IEDs can be made from anything from artillery shells to ANFO explosives.

furthermore, 'IED' isn't a word as such, it's an acronym

You've been here for a year, you should have at least learned about paragraphs by now. Also, you're simply suggesting that C4 not be able to stick to things, which has had plenty of discussion before - https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f18-pr ... cy-c4.html
