This has been designed soley for the PR Community and any like minded Petrol Heads out there who would like to put their Driving skills to the test against other PR Community Members...........................

For the first time ever, we are looking at creating the a PR Racing Season Event. Using the latest F1 2010 PC game from Codemasters, we intend to create a realistic F1 Season, and compete against each other on all 19 tracks in the F1 Calendar.
If you enjoy Mulitplayer events, and are interested in Racing Simulators, then this is the place for you. Although in its infancy we intend for this to expand over the season, and further ideas may be incorporated to make this a realisitc and enjoyable experience for all the Drivers.
- The Season
The season will begin in a matter of weeks, with dates TBC in the forum. The season will follow the current F1 Calendar with our first race being Bahrain. A total of 12 Drivers will couple up and create their own race team from one of the following teams:
a. Mclaren
b. RBR Renault
c. Ferrari
d. Mercedes GP
e. Renault
f. Force India Mercedes
Each team may also have a reserve driver to cover any drivers unavailable for a race night
These 6 teams will then partake in the first Project Reality Race Season.
Practice Sessions are to be completed by Drivers on their own, prior to the race. There will be a minimum of 2 weeks between race nights
On Race Day, there will be a Qualification session, this will then be followed by a 20% Race.
All dates are TBC, and will be discussed with teams once they are registered.
A dedicated TS3 Server has been created for this, details will be made available after registration.

- Customised Cars for the Season
Teams, will have the option to create their own designed and unique Team Car. A standard PSD will be provided to work on, on completion they will be tested and added to the main download, as all players will need to install the files. If however teams do not want to use a customised car, they can stick with the default Team Cars. More info to follow.
- PR F1 2011 Race Team
The Winning team for 2010, will become our Official PR F1 Race Team. They will be allowed to use this car for the following PR F1 season and they will then take on external teams with arranged Races, to see how well the PR F1 Team can really do in the 2011 season. Although WIP - this is what the PR F1 2011 Car is looking like so far (Subject to change):
- Registration Details
The first step is to head over to the forum and create an account: www.realityracerproject.com/forum
From there, you will need to put in a Roster Application to join the 2010 roster.
After you have completed both steps, you will need to find a team mate. A lot of thought needs to be put in to this as you two will be racing together for the entire season. Once you have a team mate, you will need to make a post in the Team Application forum. Your team will then be given its own team forum, banners, sigs, etc.
Your team may also have one of each of the following:
- Reserve Driver
- Crew Chief
A teams crew chief is responsible for helping teams tweak and test car settings for best race day performance. They are not allowed to race, nor are they allowed to be a reserve driver. To add either to your team, you simply need to respond to your Team Application thread with all pertinent info.
