Destroying buildings.
Hey, I just thought of a wonderful idea. But I'm not sure, but are the games BattleField Bad company running on a similiar game engine? And from the demo I played, you could destroy walls and such. And even a 60 MB version of Counterstrike had the possibility of destroying walls in it; why not use it in Project Reality? Sure, it would require a lot of coding, but it's the point that things eventually break after shooting it with 'the big guns'.

YOU should change it to having almost every building enterabble, like in muttrah it would be epic to be able to enter every building and hotel, and house on that map. If it takes too much memory just do not place furniture. that would be epic, plus it would make the game truly realistic fighting from building to buildings. not the same old T,H-buildings and insurgent buildings

There's only certain buildings that are destructible. I'm guessing that if all buildings were destructible, it would cause major lag and would mess with the game play. Don't quote me on it.

Theres a specific limit to destructable objects in a map. Asad khal was supposed to have all the buildings destroyable but it wasn't possible

There is a limit of networkable objects in BF2, somewhere around 1024 IIRC. AFAIK this includes players, kits etc... So, it's not possible to have every wall/building to be destructible as there simply isn't a high enough limit in BF2. This is why games like BF:BC etc have a lower player count.
Currently, PR does have destructible buildings but it's limited and occasionally quite buggy.
