Worst excuse I've heard so far :p Also, why didn't you just take up with me if you couldn't work things out with the moderator himself?

Nevermind that the moderator team does not really have anything to do with the development side of the team...

The MOD that gave me the infraction was rude about it.
and skewed the facts(intentional or accidental?)
He didn't respond to my messages about the infraction.
He left on LOA...
I talked to Saobh who chatted with you while you were busy with exams.
Saobh was cool about it, told me to chill and it will expire(which it has)
but I still see it in my user CP and reminds me of the way it was given and handled.

That is the reason I don't donate. i have a reason, not an excuse.
If I wanted an excuse I'd just claim to be poor and cannot afford to spare $5 every other month.
Best line yet...

For everyone claiming poverty - ask for a prepaid credit card for Christmas. Most major cc companies offer them, and really, they are just a glorified gift card that you can use anywhere. Including donating to PR!

Problem solved! :)

Ya know in the past it was due to just not thinking about it much.
Now I've come to the conclusion that I should donate to the cause.
But now I am completely broke financially. I'm one of many in the 15% of unemployed Californians club. Even if they took the donations and bought themselves a few beers I would be happy I could assist.

Alllll the way at the bottom of the main forum page. Click on the little PR box on the left to link to the donation page.

Either take it up with him, or be pissed at the guy, but the DEVs aren't involved in that at all.

Your "reason" to not donate is flawed, as you're just hurting the DEVs, not the MOD that pissed you off. Donations are for the DEVs and the services they provide (eg. this website, the mumble server), not to buy hookers for the MOD team...

This is my first day in the PR forum, I've been playing this mod on and off since PR v0.91, and I didn't even know the team was accepting donations.

It is really the best mod that I have ever played on, the closest simulation to battle I've ever played on (to my knowledge) and this is why I encourage everyone to at least donate $10. I mean it's the price of a haircut, grow it for 3 more weeks playing PR haha.

I took it up with him. he told me to watch it or he'd slap me with an infraction for my attitude.
For some reason I thought being a supporting member should get me a little bit of respect and talk/discuss the issue with him.
But alas, none.
Missing the point? I thought the MOD peeps are part of the PR team. I didn't know they were separate entities.

I'm ok if they buy beers and hookers with the donations. I'm not ok if one of them takes out their bad day on me.
It wasn't me that changed my mind about donating. It was the MOD that refused to discuss the matter. The last thing I said to the MOD was that I was not going to donate while I have to see the infraction in my CP. I suppose if he cared about the donations as much as you he might have thought about discussing the issue.

Because I don't like the direction the mod is heading in and feel supporting it would condone this.

Donated once cause I had spare cash, but currently I have one Australian dollar in my bank account and if donated, would be eaten by Paypal anyway.

I plan to donate a decent amount, can only hope it goes to the development of PR2 though.

Once I get out of High school, and get a debit card, I'll more then likely donate to PR, only because they've made my grades go lower, and my levels of fun go up :p

Dude, that's the ]CIA['s job, and we've got it covered. Well...

Kokan and hookers needs money to support our enabling of the DEV's "Habits." Our server provider charges us an arm and a leg for every GB over our set 1000 GB limit. So please help a worthy cause, and help us get "Kokan and Hookers" into every home in the world...of PR.

If you can donate please go here CIAGaming.org or if you have already decided go here DONATE

Thank you.

P.S. This also funds our Langley Server if you are a fan of non-intrusive admins and serious teamplay AAS-Kicking.

Some people seem to think it's a subscription. It can if you want it to be, but you can also donate just once.
