Can i play Project Reality with a non-original Battlefield 2?

Hey, straight to the point: i have a non-original version of Battlefield 2 and i'd like to play Project Reality. But i'm not sure if i can play it with a non-original version or if i need to buy the original one, and i'm not downloading almost 4gb without being sure of it. So, can i play it with my non-original version (please say yes, please say yes)? Thanks.

Yeah, i used that "tecnique" of putting the "x9392" in front of a generated CD-Key in the windows registry. So, i won't be able to play it? :/

If you can play online in regular BF2, you will be able to play online in PR.

Yeah, i can play it online, but only putting "x9392" in front of a generated CD-Key in registry. So basicly, without doing that, i couldn't play it online with a regular generated CD-Key, but it worked when i installed the game, is that enough? ;S
