When starting Project Reality v0.95 i get the- unable to find bf2audio dll module

It show the game bf2 title then error message then black screen then goes back to desktop.

I had the same thing happen to me recently, but only once...
NO idea why , but in game I had no chevron on my compass and was unable to see squad leader markers...

Was it a lack of administrator rights or something?

usually you have to re-install BF2, maybe you didn't patch it correctly?
