Hi there, i'm currently using boot camp on my macbook pro to attempt to play project reality...which has Windows 7 installed, also I am using the CD copy of BF2, not steam.
Currently whenever I attempt to start Project reality I encounter this error:
failed to load effect staticmesh.fx
how can I sort this out?

I tried searching this forum for a solution but none of the proposed solutions worked, plus no one was using boot camp!

Please give a brief history before and after problem started.
Please describe when your problem hits and what you have already tried.
Write down the error message as precise as possible (maybe even take a screenshot).
Can you run regular BF2 and join online servers?
You might not have installed 1.41 then 1.5 patches for BF2.
Your installers for PR might be corrupted, use a download manager or torrent client for large downloads like that. Check them for corruption: https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f27-pr ... ost1474278

Provided that Win 7 is working fine (which i assume it is), then this is not a bootcamp issue.
The fix will be the same as it would be for any other PC, so be sure not to ignore them simply because they aren't running bootcamp.
Personally i suggest uninstalling BF2, then reinstalling and applying all the patches in the correct order (1.41 then 1.5), then reinstall PR.
