What program do you use to stress test CPU/GPU?

Post by randeDANDE »

I need a simple one. I had a really easy one where all I did was select all 8 cores and it would make my CPU at 100% I just did that too see how hot it would get with HMonitor. Same with GPU just clicked a button and it would put it at 100% load.

I reset my comp to factory settings and I lost that program and been trying to find it but all I get are these complicated ones with all these settings that make you stress test it for an hour. The one I used made it at 100% load in like 10 seconds. But yeah I just want one to see how much my comp can take.

i7 2600k
GTX 580 1.5 gb
8GB G.SKILL RIPJAW X RAM
P8P67 PRO B3
1TB Seagate HDD
Corsair 650tx

Well, if you want to torch your GPU, Try Furmark or Uniheaven benchmark. As for CPU testing, Prime95 really is great.

I used BurnInTest a few times and it's pretty good. It doesn't only test CPU and GPU, tests pretty much everything, but you'll probably find it useful.
