[?] Importing whole map in to 3Ds max?
So have anyone tried? I have never worked with BF2 mod tools so decided to ask if anyone at least have an idea how to do it.

Re: Importing whole map in to 3Ds max?
Does not really work like that for a number of reasons.
You are going to want to break it down and export parts individually.
- Terrain is best done using the terrain tool rather than a static (as it lods itself) You might be able to bake out a heightmap of what you have in 3ds max and then convert it to terrain.
- Statics should be somewhat modular and share textures to save on performance.
- Vegetation should be exported by itself also.
So pretty much yeah you can model it all in max, but you will need to break it down before importing.

OR are you asking to import a map from bf2 into 3ds max?

Can be done with the BF2 max tools for LMing as per above, but if your wanting to have everything with textures, it can be done but takes a shit load of work and expertises.

Do you have a secret trove of Muttrah WIP pictures? I have seen a few around the forum and they look awesome.'[R-DEV wrote:Rhino;1695459']
