interesting installation problem

Hi there, first off I would like too clarify that I have installed and played PR with no problems several times before using the same copy of BF2 I have owned for many years. The only thing I am uncertain of is if I have run it on this pc before as i upgraded last year, my old PC ran win xp sp2 (32bit) where as my current pc is running win 7 ultimate 64 bit, not sure which sp im on but i guess it's the latest lol :s. Lastly my copy of BF2 is an official deluxe edition on disc.

Step 1: install BF2 fine, no problems.

Step 2: Run the Bf2 1.5 patch, get this:

[ATTACH]7180[/ATTACH] [ATTACH]7181[/ATTACH]

Step 3: run PR installer, get this:

[ATTACH]7182[/ATTACH]

So yeah, I'm not really sure as to what is going on. I tried reinstalling BF2 and just running the PR installer, says the same as above. Re-downloaded the patch from a different source, same as above. I miss this game so much and would appreciate any help, short of re-downloading the PR installation files (which I got from MODDB, so I'm doubtful that they are the problem) I can't think of anything else.

Please help me with this bizarre problem, and feel free to point out an obvious thing I may have missed and make me feel dumb, but happy .

Edit: False alarm people, I managed too overcome my stupidity and downloaded the 1.41 patch, ran that fine and now the 1.5 patch is doing its thing as I type, damn me for forgetting a patch lol. Still, it is strange that the 1.5 patch said I had a later version installed when in fact needed to install the 1.41 patch 1st :s

Install Bf2 --> Install BF2 1.41 update --> Install BF2 1.5 update --> Install PR 0.976 --> Install PR Mumble 1.0 PR edition
