[0981] nvidia ambient occlusion problem OR previous map crash

funny bug with my new nvidia card kokan nighttime

Turns kokan into a nighttime map almost, at least i think its the setting, as i turned it off after restart, we did crash on a nightime map if that could possibly have affected it but doubt it

so turn the setting off if you sofar have been playing PR in the dark :D

If fob emplacements turn pitch black, clear your cache folder by going to C:\Users\QualityHD\Documents\Battlefield2\mods\bf2\cache\ and deleting everything inside. The next time you will join a server you will see that "your video settings are optimizing, it can take few minutes" and everything will be normal ;)

thx for the tips but im pretty sure it was this nvidia driver setting, just see at end of video i just turned of the setting and restarted the game and everything was fine again

Was there a server crash between a dark map and a light map while you were loading? that can cause the previous map's lighting to load, which could produce this

yes, a falkland nigthmap crashed right before and kokan was next map set by the admins, mz, so the nvidia setting was not the isseu ? k, good to know.
