PR2 is going to be a port of PR:BF2 to the C4 engine ;)

If that's true then I'm rather disappointed. That CryEngine3 thing got me really excited to see the things that could be done on that engine. I trust that PR2 will be outstanding either way though.

I'm pretty sure a dev said at some point that they decided that the C4 engine didn't suit their needs and that they were searching for another engine.
If you ask me then I say we might even have a playable version next year.

I don't think I've heard any devs answer directly whether or not they are truly porting the PR:BF2 mod to another engine or making a standalone PR game from current PR:BF2 assets.
