No, probably skipping win8, unless i get a notebook with touch screen at some point.

Im running on win7 64 bit and it strikes me that there is so many problems when you try to run Fallout 3 on it. Its a AAA game goddamn it, they should invest into some forward porting to newer OSes.

Would it have anything to do with Games For Windows Live? My game didn't run until I uninstalled the version that came with the game and installed the latest version.

I bought windows 8 (yes it is awesome) but waiting for mumble overlay fix for PR before running it again.

Tactical Gamer was an Excellent Server. Yeah that's right, I said that, go a head and BAN ME from your server now!

Hi Guys , i have some questions , during some party on PR i CAN see diff?rent things , Like cr?ate , so this is m'y question:
CAn we have possibility to d?pose cr?ates or amunition cr?ates with boat ,in jabal for example.
And CAN we show in minimap where are the create , in party i Like to see where i CAN have amunition on my map.

What kind of new layers have been added to maps? SOme have been revealed such as Canada on Kashan. I understand most layers have been updated too. Every map has a standard with the regular vehicle layout, an infantry layer with no armed vehicles, and an alt layer which is similar to the normal layer but with a small asset change, or flag change. Some maps have no alt layer, and some have quite different alt layers, but this is the most general pattern.

Has this formula remained or are there maps with greater than 3 layers? Have maps that lacked radically different layers been given some?

Was there any experimentation in the 1.0 development for new layers? As in asset combinations that have never been done before, for example one side with fighter bombers, and multiroles, and the other with no air power, but a rather significant AAV force.

Honestly, I can't even remember all the changes we've made... but yes, you'll see new layers and changes to layers.

I'm guessing they have (at least to quite a few levels) added different armies/ lighting (skies). But its just a guess.

A few have but in most cases that requires a total re-lightmap of the level so only maps that have received a major update have really got any major lighting changes.

I found nice trick to boost BF2 New technique I use to reduce lag. - GameFront Forums . Now it isn't working with PR but why don't implement it to PR? IMHO DEVS know this trick, so i'm looking for your answer DEVS. And you, what do you think about it?

We don't use bf2.exe in 1.0, we use prbf2.exe. So I guess that "technique" is in 1.0 :p . But that said, that "technique" is just bollocks and does nothing.

Well right now xfire doesn't detect you playing a game but hopefully we will get full xfire support for PR v1.0 after its release :)
