Clean Screens?

Post by joe »

Sorry if this has come up before but I couldn't find anthing on other posts.

Wouldn't it feel more realistic if you got rid of the stuff overlaid on the screen? I mean mainly your team members names and and the control point flags. It clutters up the screen and detracts from the feel of the game. People can see where the points are on their mini-map (which I think should stay) and forcing them to check their targets before they fire might help bring some more realism into the firefights.

I think it's already much better for not having the enemies name come up in red or the yellow "hit" markers. Why not go all the way? Possibley keep your squad leaders name visible to help cohesion, but apart from that players should have to rely on their eyes and their brain to know who to shoot at.

I just think the less stuff overlaid on the screen the better, for a realisitic effect.
