Crash upon joining server.

When i click on join or double click the server i wish to join, PR closes and for a short while the message cleaning BF2 content pops up. At least i think thats what it said, its very fast. Like .5 seconds.

Im running the game in windowed, no other errors showed.

Okay, apparently im crashing on BF2 as well. Its been such a long time. lol. Anyone any ideas to why?

Opening the audio tab in BF2/PR makes the game crash. I suspect thats the cause.


FIXED IT.

I had some virtual audio cable **** and some other audio stuff that needed to be disabled in the device manager.

uninstalled virtual audio cable and some other audio driver thing that i cannot remember the name of. Basically unused audio ****.

Open device manger, in win7 you can just type in device manager in the start search programs and files thing. Then check what kind of audio drivers there are installed under "sound video and game controllers".

If there are any that you do not use either disable them or uninstall them.

I read that BF2 doesn't like multiple soundcards. I have two and it seems to work now after i removed the unused drivers.
