I would be up for just flying around on a rope like Tarzan and climbing down when I got there

Fastropes confirmed.[R-DEV]Rhino wrote:Even if we could sort out the rope bit, there is a pretty large delay on how soon you can enter a vehicle after exiting one, which would mean you would most likley hit the ground before catching the rope, again, assuming we did get the rope bit to work....

When jumping out of a heli instead of deploying a parachute deploy a rope instead that you go down to the ground.

Impossible. Not going to happen. Any Dev who says otherwise is lying. I am telling the truth.

Re: Ask the [Dev]s a (?)
Are you guys thinking about bringing bandana mask(sorry, I don't really know how to say it in english) like on this picture back(the support guy)? It would be really cool.

Coz militia rifleman in 1.0 open beta had a gas mask, so I guess you guys are less about realism now and more about cool looks? Well I don't mind, just give the swag to the other factions too

The gasmask is just a bit of fun, Militia being an irregular force and all that.Unhealed wrote:Are you guys thinking about bringing bandana mask(sorry, I don't really know how to say it in english) like on this picture back(the support guy)? It would be really cool.

It's still about realism, if it wasn't the USMC officer would still have spooky skeleton gloves.

Just becouse it's irregualr force doesn't mean they are stupid enough to wear a gasmasks for no reason. No offense, but I really can't understand what are you doing guys, if it's about realism then gasmask should be removed, I personally can't take it seriously when I see a guy in the gasmask while no one else is using it, atleast move it to the back of his head or something.[R-DEV]melonmuncher wrote:The gasmask is just a bit of fun, Militia being an irregular force and all that.

Re: Ask the [Dev]s a (?)
I think they should do more gask 'mask type' stuff, since name tags are being removed its hard to tell whos who. You have to do it by kit. Not exactly 100% realistic but in RL everyone has different body shape and face etc...

Re: Ask the [Dev]s a (?)
Gas masks(assuming old soviet stock of civilian mask that have attached filter instead of hose+independent filter on carrying bag; although either type can be modified to work the same way) are wearable as makeshift eye/face protection once you take out the asbestos filter and hollow it out, so breathing is not such a pain. From the outside, it looks the same.Unhealed wrote:Just becouse it's irregualr force doesn't mean they are stupid enough to wear a gasmasks for no reason. It is not as far out(for realism) as skeleton gloves inspired by call of dooty.
Militia often fight in the mountains and woods; where thorns and other hazards can be problem.
[quote=""'[R-DEV"]Chuc;1922559']The gas mask has been switched to another kit, end of story.[/quote]
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
Which kit?

If memory serves me right, that glove was used during the time where that battle began in real-life, so the dev's added that glove for more realism.camo_jnr_jnr wrote:lol

Re: Ask the [Dev]s a (?)
Devs have you wondered about "roughing up" a few of the guns ingame? Such as tap on the stocks/hand guard, having a few scratches or a little bit dirt here and there because so far in game all of the guns seem to be very clean all of the time.
