Re: Start up problem
Hello and welcome to PR,
some quick questions to help figure this out:
1. Does vanilla BF2 online multiplayer work correctly?
2. What antivirus/firewall are you using?
3. TO clarify, yuo can start PRlauncher, and you can use all the buttons in PRLauncher, but when you press the Play button in PRLauncher, the PR game never starts, and just hangs...
4. Does PR itself start at all, do you get the black screen and then the PR intro movie?
5. (IF PRLauncher works) Please start PRLauncher, go to Support->Copy toCLipboard and then paste in this thread so we can see your system specs.
regards,

Re: Start up problem
PR uses much more CPU and GPU resources than vanilla BF2.
I believe your best option is to lower your graphics and video settings, especially your resolution settings, to test.
in PRLauncher, go to Options,
go to Video tab, lower all your settings to Low, and as low a resolution as you can, CLICK APPLY
go to Graphics tab, set all your settings to Low, CLICK APPLY.
Try to start PR.
If this works, then we can start moving your graphics and video options back up to better settings.
You will want to also use something like Razer Gamebooster to shutdown background processes to free up CPU cycles and RAM resources.
