PR Bf2 is dying due to constant server crashes.
The die hard PR BF2 players are hanging on in hope of a solution
I played this wonderful combat sim for 7 years now, it means a lot to me and I thank and credit the hard work which produced it, however, facts must be faced, SERVER crashes are common, a full game with no crash is rare sadly.
Heres hoping for a solution

We have a whole bunch of updates ready to be tested. Some are regarding the performance issues, others are bugfixes and what not. It's too much to name it all here, but just wanted to let you know that we have a whole bunch of updates waiting to be tested on a larger scale.

Re: PR is dying
This is still true. Real life (pay, education, health, family) beats out volunteer mod project at the moment for a lot of us on the team right now (myself DEFINITELY included). That's simply reality.[R-DEV]AfterDune wrote:The people in the know of making new builds are too occupied by real life at this moment. The fact that we have as many active players as we do at the moment is an achievement in and of itself, given the games that have recently (and are about to be) released.
In the meantime, if you're not feeling the PR experience at the moment for whatever reason, now would be a good time to make sure you cover your other gaming pursuits; 2013 has been an excellent year as far as game releases go, and as awesome as PR is, you shouldn't miss out on some of those other games. We'll still be here when you get back, and hopefully not just with stability and bug fixes too.
