Anytime I see a side losing, I usually notice a lack of spawn points.
You need good logistics. And not only that, you have to MAINTAIN it.
Sometimes your team is good on pushing and you don't have to maintain them as all the pressure is on the enemy team and can't maneuver.
But logistics is VERY important.
Tactics is using weapons to the best advantage you can. A squad leader who's focus on leadership, is a weapon. But mainly i'm talking bullets to blow people up and how to best use them.

Falklands has it but most infantry players hate it. I enjoy it as it requires additional skill. And Falklands is considered modern, but perhaps you mean more present day.fatalsushi83 wrote:That's awesome. I'd love to see modern day engagements in PR where both sides have iron sites (only Vietnam offers that right now). Looking forward to it.
Hate to burst your bubble Duke, but calling in armor and mortars is relying on the weapons to help you out.Dude_Nukem wrote:Indeed, its more about tactics. Come on, don't rely on the weapons, rely on the team! Just call in armour/inf/mortars/etc. support.

You should replace useless and rare Mosin Nagant sniper rifle with pretty common Steyr SSG sniper rifle for FSA. The most common weapons in Syria are not AK-47 neither AKMS, they are called Norinco Type 56. Cheap Chinese AKs which have few things visually different from AK-47/AKM like for example SKS-like circled iron sight.
Wouter/Rabbit - Can you tell me where the hell did you see GP-25 or DP MG in Syria?

The grenadier was a balance and gameplay choice. Very important kit.
We don't have a norinco type 56 so that won't be seen soon neither.
Also I suggest you try out the Sniper alt kit and see what you get.
And again you have a very irritated and negative tone in your feedback. There is 0% need for that.

If you get the layout where the flags are all in the fields, it's pretty even because everything's really close quarters fighting.
Off we fuck.

Re: MEC guns OP to Syrian weapons...
I haven't seen GP-25 in Syria either, there appears to be none even in the hands of SAA.
Hovewer there is GP-34 mounted on AK74M that is used by SAF and that the rebels have now captured.
LiveLeak.com - Death Worm was using AK-74M with GP-30 grenade launcher

So I would like to propose a change to both SAF and FSA grenadier kit, give it at an AK74M with a GP34 instead of an AK47 with GP-25. That gun and that grenade launcher are rare, sure, but at least they aren't non-existent like GP-25.
I also haven't seen DP-28 in Syria. But I think it should stay becouse there is nothing else we can put in it's place and there should be some fun, not only brutal realism.

I'm happy with the lack of scopes, but would be as pleased as punch to get a few of the AK 47's replaced with Ak 74's. I find the recoil pattern in the 47's to be hard to control in full auto compared to the 74 (presumably similar to real life).
Even just on a couple of kits as at the minute, we're limited to 7.62 rifles and I prefer to spray and pray in cqb
.
Besides, that I'm liking the asymmetry in the map so far.
Cheers, Murkey.

That would be nice indeed. But there are very few AK74 being used there(especially by FSA), but plenty of M16 rifles.Murkey wrote:I'm happy with the lack of scopes, but would be as pleased as punch to get a few of the AK 47's replaced with Ak 74's. Why not throw up some AKs on the Placeholder MEC faction, that would be a bit more representative of the Syrian Army, eh?

Cause the MEC isn't only being representative of the syrian army? MIDDLE EASTERN COALITION.

Yeah, I'd like to know myself. I'd be pretty crazy if we had an FSA advisor advising the devs on the PR forums.CroCop wrote:Are you?
