Will the rules on FCV change to PRTA standards?

Because they already have a crapload of servers for themselves, and it was awesome having a server look out for the little guys on the other end of the globe :)

Alienating the current player base for the prospect of reviving a dead community isn't the wisest of choices.

I'm sure Brenn and company have everything under control.

All 5 of them?

Aah, I'm just butthurt that FCV Alpha is unplayable for me and Bravo isn't as nearly populated as Alpha. Honestly, I don't even understand why would any European player play on FCV Alpha - playing with above 150 ping is a sign of masochism. Unless you're doing armour or jets.

Servers will just stay as they are, its just a big moving into PRTA, You guys probably wont see to much of it (to your benefit).

Lead admins/Management will talk about rules, but since it are still a bit of different communities and different players most of the things will stay the same on EU and USA servers.

Eurofags need to understand that yes you can play games with a ping of more than 10ms...
I get 210ms to FCV LA server... Yet its the lowest latency server in the Pacific... I have no problems gaming, flying or being armor!
But please, do go on telling me "omg how bad" your pissy little ping is.

As iv posted the proof many times before, stats dont lie: https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f29-pr ... dback.html

If PRATA want to shit on the already developed FCV community, then crack on killing another good server...

In which part of the merge announcement is there something like shitting on the FCV community? Like said servers will stay the same (LA and NY) but FCV moves over to PRTA. You won't notice to much.

And whats the problem with the eurofags?

EDIT:
That message was probably faced towards Souls of mischief so nvm.

And Mischief, thats probably because FCV is up a bit longer since the time differences in USA, so when they go to bed some of the EU will wake up and play in morning/afternoon.

You realize you pretty much did the same thing before he countered, only you were more offensive this post around.

@Rolling, if you want to preserve a good repuation on the PR-Forums you know how to contact me and start an active conversation within 15 seconds, it's at your fingertips to talk to me privately about this matter.

@Murphy, I 100% understand where you are coming from. Please trust me here along with all of [OD-S] (one of the most honorable clans to serve on FCV, and to still insist on serving in the future), FCV is still alive but it is going to sit down behind the shadows and have its management's attention directed on other things that are crucial to this community and its future while many other seniors and directors from FCV will uphold high positions in PRTA, to refine it and to make it a mirror image of FCV until FCV comes back, most likely in a different shape and name due to what importance it may represent in the future. I will still be a manager in PRTA, I am going to make sure our side is pleased internally and externally. Additionally, if the community feels unsatisfied we will still have our servers (@Psyrus if you were wondering) as they are already running, I still have all of my licensing for everything so in the worst of worst conditions pulling away which may delay a lot of things and have to restrain a lot of our efforts (once again) is always possible. I don't want to think of that however.

If you guys have anything private you would like to address you can always private message me or get lucky and catch me on teamspeak while I'm not AFK.

@Mods this thread will be asked to be closed by the end of the week by me. If this escalates at any time before I ask for this to be closed don't feel bad to close this server's feedback thread as another one is in the development at the moment.

So are you possibly saying that FCV will return in a new and independent form one day?

This is unrelated but maybe make sure your admins know when and when not to use the scramble command. Caused a bit of a scene yesterday, don't know how the server didn't crash.

Upon management decision we will be postponing Scenario Sundays to October 5th as we are going to be redoing some technical sides to our server and we will be situating the merge going on at the moment.

We will be running some early-access map tests on maps that we plan on running more often in the future, and hopefully (one in particular) may reach a more than just private level.

Hope everyone enjoys their weekend! Also, please leave feedback on whether a command & control night would be nice.

I have spoken to the admin who performed the command. He has only had his admin for a few days and is still figuring things out. He says he's really sorry, and I explained to him when to use the command and when not to. Sorry for the mix up!

Do you have a timeline that you're comfortable sharing on when the actual merger could take place?
