Cut Content
What is some content that was cut in earlier patches that you miss or are glad to miss?

Molotovs were awesome
One thing that was cut were vanilla-esque 3d markers at long ranges, which were cut because tanks and apcs could get a marker out of view distance and nail it from across the map, given that there were no obstacles in the way ^^

How were they? Seemed like fun.[/quote]
Used to be the best anti-armour weapon.

I thought it was mostly Attack choppers.

Re: Cut Content
Indeed, this was its single biggest problem, among many other, is that it would "burn the crew out of their vehicle", though the vehicles armour, which is totally the opposite of how it should workComradeHX wrote:Used to be the best anti-armour weapon.
Ye it was mainly attack choppers that was the issue firing their LGM past the view distance, directly on target with no chance of AA, or anything else being able to counter them as a result...ComradeHX wrote:I thought it was mostly Attack choppers.
But I would hardly say it was a "cut feature", more of a removed vBF2 thing that didn't belong in PR and replaced by the arrow on the compass which is far better all round for gameplay.

Haha, I remember in the 0.9x Versions, sooo many people on. IIRC, .95 had always over 10 full servers.DesmoLocke wrote:I miss the player numbers we used to have.

Hills of hamyngong (probably not spelled right), man, never played it online, but me and and my friends had some damn awsome rounds playing LAN on that map!

Would it be possible to bring back the molotov on maps with no armour or buildings? Ia Drang perhaps? Not sure if the nva used molotov cocktails though lol.

I didn't play much PR prior to 1.0, but I dearly remember a round I had in this big snow map I don't remember the name of. I miss that map!

I remember before 1.0, the times where you can pick up an enemy's kit with the uniform to look like the enemy. I used that tactic often to blend in, and then pretending to be a team-mate following until I go into an isolated area and knife them. Many lols were had from that
