Critical Error Help?

So I just installed PR standalone a few days ago, and recently i received an error when attempting to launch the game.
Prompt as follows:

Critical Error

An unhandled exception has occurred. Details are as follows:

Invalid character in the given encoding. Line 1, position 1.

Further Details can be found in the following file:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Project Reality\Project Reality BF2\mods\pr\bin\PRLauncher.log


Launcher starts up, but when i go to click Play, all that I get is this prompt. Has anyone dealt with this before? Any Fixes?

make sure your anti virus is whitelisting prbf2.exe and prlauncher.exe
