Hey fellas,
I just wanted to know what's up with all those locked squads ? I was playing on a Server a couple of days ago, i think on the NZ Server, i couldn't believe what i saw...
There were 9 Squads ...
1,2 were APC/CAS, nothing special about it..
3 Squads were full...
Then there were 5 other squads but all of them were locked! .....!..5! with a maximum of 3 Players in it !
I asked them polite if they could open a squad for me and why they locked that many squads...
You guys know what they said ??
We don't want to have noobs in our squads and stuff...
Seriously what a bunch of dicks....
What is going on with our community guys ? This game was always a pleasure to play but it's getting more and more "either you are a noob or a *cough* vet" i'm really sad about this.

The admins should be making people unlock in that situation tbh.

That's messed up. I've also seen more and more locked squads. Namely clans playing together with only 3/4 people. The servers I play on don't allow locked squads below a certain side, not sure if it's 4 or 6 but it depends on the server. So if there is an admin on they will address it hopefully.
I need to apologize for being a part of the vet/noob war. So, I am sorry. I really enjoy this game. So much in fact that it is now the only multiplayer game I am playing anymore. It's really that fun!
The logic of some of these guys makes me laugh though. "We don't want noobs so you cant play with us." Well excuse me but how in the hell are the new people supposed to get better if you dont let them play with you and learn?
Only thing I can think to do Tackle is maybe post on that server's forum to bring it to the attention of their admin. Sorry I can't help more. Time to get back to leading my FNG squad.

Some servers have rules against locked squads specifically because of this situation. At OD-S, we do enforce the "No locked infantry squads under six people" rule.

I can undestand if you have like 5 new players in you squad you will never get the pr experience as you can get with a full squad entirely vets...but they should really take 1 or 2 new players into their squad to teach them how to play Project Reality properly.

This has been an issue for a very long time. Some people just prefer to play with their friends. I don't get the "noob" comments, although there is certainly a degree of immaturity among some of the younger members of our community.
As was mentioned, I would definitely contact an admin if you are unable to join a squad, because you will get kicked! This has no benefit for anyone!
My other solution is to join whatever squad has a spot, and do the best you can to support the squad, encourage teamwork and communication, or just ask if you can take over the SL role if you're comfortable with that. This is what I do in these situations.
