Not a single hit while fully deviated.
Someone told me while deployed it has some bug? Has anyone else experienced this?
learn2play is all I can say.

Never had this trouble with the SVD Fir3w411.
For most of player that I know the SVD is a weapon of choice, probably the best Marksman weapon.

Agree, SVD still packs a punch. Fully deviated have no problems hitting running targets at 300+ with 2 shot burst.

Will one the devs please comment? I'm telling you, I use all of the sniper rifles in game, and the SV-98 feels like trash compared to the other ones. It does not consistently drop enemies.

Previously in this thread we had someone who made a point in regard of the players hitpoint modifier if you hit the chest area wich is protected by bodyarmor.
Here is a experiment I made few days ago,
I was on the carrier waiting for the cobra in muttrah with one guy and I just had this thing popping in my head. I told my mate to pick up the medic kit and I used him as a gineapig.
The result were the following,
3 hit down for chest area,
4 hit down for legs area.
The experiment was led with the M9 pistol.
Now. How does aiming for the legs with a sniper is more efficient than aiming for the chest?
It's in relation with the post of WingWalker , ''The body armor change in damage is modeled in PR. When you shoot an Army guy with body armor in the torso, it takes 15-30 seconds for them to bleed out. If you hit them in the legs or the head they drop right away.''

Re: SV-98 Sniper - Why isn't it a one shot kill? (Like the other SRs)
I just did bot testing.
SV-98 chest shot (armor) takes 28 seconds to bleed out.
SV-98 arm shot (no armor?) takes 28 seconds to bleed out
SV-98 leg shots are instant.
USMC Sniper Rifle shot (anywhere) are instant.
This is what I'm talking about, taking 28 seconds to bleedout from a SV-98 chest shot makes the gun practically worthless, compared to the other SRs, if there is a medic, or patches remotely close. I have had games where I was camping a FOB with SV-98, and could not get a single enemy down because there was one good medic patching before the 28 seconds is up.
The 28 seconds is also plenty of time for someone to drop their own patches, and then kill the sniper. I have shot enemy medics in the chest, had them hide, drop all of their patches, and then get shot again by me, and still live to kill me.
This is a game breaking dynamic for SV-98 to not one shot in the chest or arm, when the other sniper rifles do.
The SV-98 needs to be buffed to the same damage as the other snipers. A SV-98 sniper can't do anything (with chest or arm shots) to a good enemy squad, when the same sniper with a different rifle can easily destroy an enemy squad.
The difference between a one shot, and 28 second bleedout is the difference between the enemy medic having to crawl out in the open to attempt a revive, vs the wounded soldier running behind cover and getting healed in safety. It is also the difference between shooting an enemy twice and them being "dead dead" and shooting the same person a dozen times (in the chest) while they run behind a wall and med up.
The difference between one shot and 28 seconds is the difference between hitting an enemy medic, downing him, and disrupting an entire squad, vs shooting the medic, and him running to safety and kit-swapping and healing in safety.
28 seconds is the difference between hitting an enemy sniper at the top of a crane, and him being dead, vs him using his 28 seconds to run down the ladders to the crate below, and patch himself to full health.
I'm telling you, the 28 second bleedout ruins the sniper dynamic and makes a game changing difference that isn't fair when the other sniper rifles all one shot.
In my sniper vs sniper example, if there are two very good snipers, one with SV-98 and one with another SR, this can actually be the difference between a team winning or losing an entire round. Think about an enemy sniper airlifted into a remote otherwise inaccessible nest (think mountains of Muttrah City) with a supply crate, but nobody else around. If it took two SV-98 hits to kill him, he could just patch off the crate indefinitely and change the ENTIRE game.
In most in-game sniper vs sniper scenarios, both snipers are prone and facing each other, so the legs aren't even visible, putting the SV-98 sniper at an extreme (and unrealistic) disadvantage.

PS, just tested the No.4Mk.I(T) Lee-Enfield Sniper Rifle (Taliban and Insurgents)
It is not a one shot stop either, please also buff it to be a one shot stop.
Hope to resolve this here without making another forum topic.

Ouuuuu, suddenly we have similar no sniper versions: Lee-Enfield and Mosin Nagant without optics by unconventional forces (Insurgents, Talibans, Militia, ARF) !
Is it necessary to buff this widespread no-scoped bolt-action rifles of rebels or it will be unbalanced for BlueForces?

I think all of the "sniper class" kits, (those requested as sniper from crate or picked up as sniper class from Insurgent base) should be one shot kills. The other kits are fine the way the are.

If ypu means Enfild and Mosin without optics - this is not an honest approach, because it is fantastic, if same weapon (with and without optics) will be have different damage.Bonecrusher76 wrote: ... The other kits are fine the way the are.

Sniper/DMR weapons have had a damage bonus to represent better training in hitting vital areas for years.
