And that brings us back to the initial concern about AT capabilities. Stationary AT guns, f.ex. PAK guns, would be a nice addition.

As for the balance with an increase in number of tanks, the MOD is limited by the simple fact that ww2 warfare was more numerous than modern. In other words, we need the 200 man server back for this mod :D

AfterDune, thanks for your reply. I truly appreciate the work going into this mod.

Speaking of assets, could buildable mortars be possible?

They already are to my knowledge, they just use the default mortars from PR. That being said, they might be disabled on all or most of the WW2 maps. Omaha had naval arty (via commander) and mapper placed mortars, merville is too small, and I'm not quite sure about Carentan. I haven't actually tried using mortars recently with WW2 so I can't remember off the top of my head :)

I don't get this push for more assets in a pretty balanced map carentan is one of the few maps i have seen where close games are common place and very few times ether side gets steamrolled adding in more tanks would ruin the experience for infantry isn't playing video games about fun and i don't think 6 armored units chasing you around the map would be fun if you want that many assets go play a vehicular warfare in the base game or wait for WW2 to put that mode in.Also the AT weapons on both sides are very effective if you play them right.

More tanks will ruin the balance of Carentan yup, me and a buddy of mine ran a Sherman a while ago and our team got pushed back to the bridge, we sat with the Sherman in a bush on a hill overlooking the other side and racked up easy kills.

So adding more assets would kill the balanced and it already has enough assets.

I didn't even know they had a server up. I played last weekend on the US based servers though. Was lots of fun.

Well, in our country the school starts on 1st September for primary, secondary and high schools, so this could be the reason I guess.
