So, are we replacing the L86A2 with the L129A1?

L129A1 from Arma is incorrect. How about remodeled M16 from PR or a new model?

If you can make something better from our M16, feel free to do so :) If anyone wants to make complete new model, I think the 6x ACOG would be better as that one is used on weapons we already have.

I suggest you could use the reciver of the AR-10T and the stock of the HK416, I think the handguard and barrel would have to be created from scratch.

Will the L86A2 remain as an alternative or it will be remove entirely?

We don't like using parts of weapons and mixing them. This multiplies the texture usage and usually you can visually tell given the parts were made by different artists. Our best course is using this one and improving on it , or make a new model. But given a new model likely takes about a year from start to finish in a volunteering community like ours, I'd highly recommend using the model above.

So, really no other weapons? Surely if someone finished it you would be able to find a place for these weapons for example? Or is this thread only for things that you want to add, but doesn't have high priority?

PPS-43
PPSH-41 with box mag
Zastava m70
RPD
MP-443 Grach

Pretty much what you said. This is for stuff we come up with that "would be nice, but too much effort". That is not to say that only things from the list would be added.
As for your list

PPS-43 - Probably could get from BF:Korea. Not sure where it would be needed?
PPSH-41 - Would be nice, I hate the drum magazine
M70 - Isnt it just an AK? :D
RPD - Also available through other mods, but no one found need for it as RPK is more prominent in our settings
MP-443 - Dont think any around.

Feel free to take on any weapon that you think would fit a faction in PR or suggest addition of weapons to factions (and possibly be faced with "do it yourself" ;) )

Vietnam?

One does have an AK too many :)
RPD - Also available through other mods, but no one found need for it as RPK is more prominent in our settings
Vietnam too?
My main point is that if you can guarantee if an asset is finished it would be in-game, I think that would inspire modellers/textures/animators more. Instead of making an asset to a community faction that might not even make it in.

And maybe if the task is simple enough maybe even a retard in modelling can make something(me)

Mostly yes, but unlike most AK clones this one has 1 specific feature

It certainly would, but we dont really have a list of things that we would want to add. You can always ask if there is need for something and then start it. However even if there is need, we cannot promise it making it into the game. Not because we dont want to, but because getting the model is only one step. Animations are a real stopper for a lot of weapons that are already finished. :(

Is it possible to see models/vehicles/weapons that you have in your repertoire but are not currently in use?

Not really. We dont even know all the stuff we have lying around :D Then there is lots of stuff we could ask for from other mods etc.

Any Incendiary/Termite grenade and a Flare Gun that you could share with me?

Also I could use a molotov cocktail. =)

I was in the process of downloading older PR versions that had some of those but it is very hard to download the older versions these days :(

Salaam Alaikum.
Recently, I started thinking about arming the Insurgency. It's pretty small. I thought, why don't we add an RPG-29 as a HAT to spawn at the main Insurgency base, one or two per team. This would be useful for dealing with enemy vehicles, since the RPG-7 damages vehicles rather weakly.
It's just a concept, my suggestion, I don't know how to program myself, it would just be cool
