Noob question

Post by Aster4689 »

Hey all,

Hope this is the appropriate place to post this, let me know if not.

Long time BF2 enthusiast, just found PR. My favorite part of BF2 back in the day was the squad aspect, so super stoked to find this game.

Is it possible to increase the volume of the squad chat channel? The few rounds I've played, everything goes smoothly, I'm following squad leaders instructions. That's until my squad takes fire, then I can't hear anything that the squad is saying to each other over the gunfire, except a few times when I heard the squad leader yelling "Aster what are you doing??" shortly before I'm of course killed. :o ops: :-P

I dug around the audio settings but didn't see anything. If it's by design to reflect reality (which I'm sure it must) then I'm totally cool with that. Obviously everybody else manages so I'll figure it out. But if there's a way to amp up the squad chat volume it would help me a lot.

Thanks either way.

This. It might seem like overkill, but if you think you'll be playing PR for a while, this is unbelievably useful.

My game effects volume is at 7% but I can change the volume on my headset so when I need to listen for enemy vehicles I just blast it all the way up.

And of course literally destroy my ears from someone screaming on mumble.
