Having not regularly played PR in several years it's been refreshing to come back. I've been enjoying my time in game and will share that with you.


4 Mar 17 - Sbeneh Ins Std

Helicopter insertion to northern FOB location, dismounted infantry fighting in the surround area trying to push on a known cache location. Ultimately failed as with the rest of the team trying to push from the south.



After what seemed like a lost cause of a round our squad venture to the other cache. The outcome is a series of small wins that eventually win us the round. Very small margins in the end. Makes up for failing with the T-62 throughout the round.





Only really get chance to play at the weekends, but looking forward to more PR time!

Cheers Rabbit, it's been good to be back. Still rusty and making mistakes! (Don't press F6 instead of 6 when you want to land the Chinook)

But it is coming back a bit.

4 Mar 17 - Fallujah West Ins Alt

West of an unknown, our hideout comes under small arms fire from the east, go off behind GURU-195 to investigate. He goes through the hole in the wall first, thankfully gave me a good heads up.

Combat footage highlights over several rounds, includes light role infantry fighting in forests; infantry assault on a position with in-direct fires support; infantry assault on enemy building; insurgent IED and suicide ambushes.

Yep. Participated in the PRT which just finished. Trying to get at least a couple of sessions in per week, although we're nowhere near as active as we used to be. Gimme a shout if you see me in-game.

First go at commander since returning, probably only the 5th time overall of commanding in PR ever. Not the best, wasn't so much of commanding and leading as much as it was supporting. Rather enjoyed it though so will probably give it another go at some point. Props to the team for a well fought battle.

Boy that one was a bit dry

Weirdly enough the actual game went quickly for me. I haven't had time to edit it down to the main parts with the UAV/Huey FLIR. Was lazy and just banged the whole thing up in a oner, sorry!

Some good rounds yesterday evening with [TP], [O-DS] and [KSK] guys, will be looking to squad up with them in the future.

Our squad holds the bunker from the start of the round just for long enough for the rest of the team to capture trenches. From there we made a rapid push to train getting into the apartment building, helping get the cap and bleed the enemy.Dealt some serious business out in the defense of bunker with little to no supplies, also had a great laugh along the way throughout the whole round and the previous round on Ia Drang.



My original squad dissolved so joined up with [KSK] half way through the round, good teamwork from these guys, really enjoyable stuff. Throughout the round the MEC were slowly pushed further back. After several defending efforts the final stand was at the mosque.
