BMP2M missiles fire from the center of the vehicle with no pre-fire Y axis control similar to roof mounted ATGMs, even though the launch tubes have limited up and down aiming.
I think this is an issue with recent patches, as I remember being able to javelin these things in previous patches.

Intended. The launcher has minimal pitch range. Watch your vehicle pitch.

Yeah, I just checked it out ingame. But to aim the launcher slightly above terrain you must aim the main gun vertically into the air.
Shouldn't the launcher aim and gun aim be synced until you reach the maximum angle for the launcher instead ?

So the camera and missile launcher share the same input "channel" with different constraints
Worth checking how it looks on the outside when you do that. The object visual rotation is directly related to the actual projectile direction.

it stays with it until it reaches 15 up, then cant go any further so if you aim the main cannon up further and then bring it back down again the atgm immediately aims down with it
can reset it by making sure you aim all the way down before firing

Same thing or similar thing happens with both chinese IFVs.

BMP-2M Missiles will always launch at 10deg elevation.
Chinese HJ-73 will launch at 7.3deg just like the model shows. Previously it always launched at 0deg.
