Yeah Resjah... i agree, wonder why.... We have factions now with a logical veriety of equipment from various parts of the world -
MEC - Russian Equipment, Euro Equipment
USA - Usa equipment
Brit - Brit and US equipment
Insurgent - (various)
PLA - copied russian and original equipment

Original equipment next...hmm not sure really. The Germans or a scandinavian nation - norway or sweden might be more interesting personally for the variety of kit.

To be honest though, to represent the world more evenly - as we have factions from different parts of the world, we really should have an african nation next... Ethiopia type model perhaps?

Currently involved in considerable armed conflict in support of the transitional somalian govt, some sort of - Pan-African Coalition army with new and interesting model opportunity for soliders and a mix of equipment from probably all other factions.
(see me if you want proof of this mix equipment idea and i will show you the wiki section showing the arms trade to that particular conflict).

I think we have enough factions now, and that we should concentrate on getting the mod perfect rather than think about factions. (as i believe is probably happening).

PR should just Ditch the MEC and go for the Classic USSR vs U.S all out nukular war)
India (Starting to make some interesting stuff now)
Austrailia (Is it just a coincidence that they're main rifle is Austrian or what?)
Brazil
Israel

Glad some people like it I do agree in completing the factions in existance first, but I thought I'd see what people thought of adding this faction if/when its possible as a suggestion.

I would help in modeling/skinning the current factions and their upgrades if I had the talent, but I'm not talented in that reguard yet, I do have friends that are. I also understand the process of development on a much larger scale as whats going on here

I recognize the talent here and I'm glad there are people delving into the engine to try and fix some of the flaws that DICE has left behind. I believe this mod is a well made version of the game and more along the lines of what I had hoped for when it first came out. If there is anything else the devs need to help out simply ask and I'll be happy to help if I'm able.

the isrealies would be a good addition but at this point i think we should finish working on the british, and retexturing some of the gunz we made, because some of them aint so pretty. ie. China anti-tank... its a tube plain and simple.

We are working on adding some new stuff. Israel is not part of the plan at this time.

OK, I made a bunch of (rather benign) sarcastic and cynical remarks about the little paranoid apartheid state Israel and "poof" I get banned and "warned 100%" for "racism".

I didn't mention the "race" of anyone in my post. However, I would like to draw attention to the (once funny) camel/scud-launcher joke which is emblazoned on the billboard in one of the city maps in game. This poster alludes to arabs in particular as having a primitive culture and an affinity for camels.

In light of this hypocrisy, can someone please explain his "logic" in banning me for my satirical criticism of the Zionist supremacist apartheid state?

Also, please make clear what you imagine "racism" to mean as its application in this matter seems somewhat ignorant. I wouldn't want to be caught up in another arbitrary application of this smear word again.

I look forward to your response when I return from the new ban this post is likely to precipitate.

i beg to differ, germany has the third largest amount of troops in afghanistan, up to 3000 (only the us and the uk have more over there) and for a limited amount of time, the bundeswehr was even the largest force in a-stan!

well, i don´t know - actually, it would favour a european force. problem is, that there are already two mods focusing on the german army, operation peacekeeper 2 and point of exsitence 2 (though those are pretty much bf2 style mods)
on the other hand, especially with opk it would be "pretty easy" (note: i don´t know how the black sand studios actually work - so this could not be an option after all), because they are also (like the pr devs) in the black sand studios, and their modells are pretty nice
of course i would like to have a german force in the game, i guess anyone would like to play as his country, but i just think it wouldn´t be fair to all the other nations and that´s why i would wish for a european force

as i said, germany got some 3000 troops down there and doing exactly what the mandate allows them too - we´re part of isaf and doing our job down there - peacekeepers, the mandate would have to be changed or extended to even allow our troops down there to do more.
also, not only will germany provide additional air services (we are probably going to send some tornados down there) for troops in the south, but also, our elite military force the "ksk" is working covered there since the beginning of the war and they´ve participated and are participating in operations with us special forces in the southern area of aghanistan

Yeah, Ive seen quite a few pics of KSK doing their job in A-Stan good on em. Shame your troops cant do more.
