I like downloading PR, its like the great race, you're racing everyone in this entire community to play the next version first. I have cable, hardwire connection, and bitlord, so it only takes about an hour maybe less. Then after you play a little bit you can come on the forums and read people bitching about how slow there download is and tell them all about whats in the game lol.

So.. that means.. hm.. i use a virtual image of bf2. because my DVD rom wont swallow the bf2 DVD. does it mean i cant use this image anymore?'[R-DEV wrote:eggman']And makes it a bajillion times easier for us to produce as well as add in MD5 checking (to reduce cheating). v0.5 will be the first release with full MD5 checking.
Do i really have to spend more money to buy a new DVD rom just to play?
i have spent 3500 dollars last year on my computer. but just not for a new DVD rom, since i had this chance to play bf2 with a virtual image.
My DVD rom let me install the game, it just wont let my play the damn game

i use a mini image too. just a few mb's. its better than copy/pasting the original dvd, and making a image with nero for example..
Here is a link to the website where you can download this mini image:

You need daemon tools to run the image. here is a link to the official website to download correct version of daemon tools:

in case your bf2 DVD dies or just for some reason wont work.
