The bunny hopping

With the release of the mini-mod (great start btw), it would be nice to see an update to the mod to stop "bunny hopping".

If you do not know what is meant by this, I am referring to a player hitting the jump key continuously when in close combat to avoid getting hit.

If you could disable the jump action when the stamina bar is in the red, I think this will solve the main issue, as currently you can continue to jump when in the red.

yeah, there have been many complaints/requests about bunny hopping around here. i'm sure the devs will do something in the full mod.

As long as the feature is there, players will exploit it( unless the server is monitored to prevent it.)

PS: Will there be some sort of limit on snipers and grenade spamers now that they have been increased in power?

Jumping takes something like 25% more of your stamina away then does vanilla BF2. Jump once, and then your DEAD IMO

I was just on a sever and saw a guy try and bunny hop, didn't work out well for him lol

In real life you can bunnyhop. In real life if you did so youd get bullets in your arse. As you will in PR because as you know it only takes one lucky bullet and your down.

I hate bunnyhoppers. But to tell you the truth, I have seen very little of it ingame so far. And if it is there it hasn`t effected me. Having said this, there are many times you want to be able to jump. Off roofs to another roof. Sometimes getting to the ladders of cranes is a betch the way they place access to them.

I say leave the ability as is.

Bunny hopping in real life when trying to evade has prolly saved alot of lives in many cases. I guarantee you, if you were under fire, you do the freaking hop skip and jump if you thought it would save your ***. lol

But we are not talking real life here. We are talking virtual realism. The weap accuracy in the PR MM is such that bunnyhoppers are now no longer a problem for dudes who normally can`t deal with them.
