Co-Leaders For Squads

Post by Tactical Advantage »

Okay, heres what im thinking, everyone knows about squads, but what I'd like to see is the ability to have a Co-Leader in a Squad, and have the ability to order that part of the squad to run on a seperate mission, take diffrent route to objective, etc. So say if Im the leader of a 6 man Squad, and we are ordered to attack a base, one of the men in my squad is the Co-Leader of the squad, so I order him to attack from the North while we go down and flank from the South, men in the squad would be assigned to either my command, or my co-leader's command, but ultimatly I would have main command over the squad. On the Tactical Map, I could issue orders to either my part of the squad or my Co-Leaders part of the squad or both. Now if we have spawn with Squad Leader in the final PR mod, men in my part of the squad would spawn with me, and men in my Co-Leaders part of the Squad would spawn with the Co-Leader to keep it fair. So I would take orders from the "Commander", then I could more setup a more detailed assualt plan to take the objective using my part of the squad and my co-leaders part of the squad. In the event me or my Co-Leader dies, we cant spawn with each other, we have to spawn at a friendly base. If any of you have played many of the Tom Clancy Ghost Recon games, a system like that would be nice with Commands and all, but on a smaller basis, instead of commanding squads, the Squad Leader would command the two parts of the squad to complete the Objective given to him by the Commander...

While what do you guys think...

i believe it split the squads and make a new squad for the split, not really a co-leader.

yep, we really need Co-Leaders For Squads, because as an expirenced Squad-Leader, at times it can be hard to keep track of 5 or so members.
