Note the first 'bangs' are the impacts, the constant hum is the sound of the gun firing.

I've got the same problem with tanks too. Can't hear anything else if I'm rumbling around it that. Makes for some funny comm chatter when you're all going "WHAT?!" like a bunch of deaf geriatrics.

I love that sound Harry! Like a cross between a fog horn and a P-51 Mustang at full power. I still think from a distance it sounds like the tripods from War of the Worlds.

The only problem with this is if you're a multi roll player, when you're on the ground you miss little sounds like birds taking off or a knife being unsheathed. I currently have my VOIP set ot 100% and effects to 50% and am not happy with the sound in planes (still too loud) or on the ground (too quite).

Give a fairly realistic on-board sound from the the A-10..although from a deeply tragic incident.
