Hosting a Local Game?

I have kind of a silly question but here goes. I am trying to run this as a local game so that I can mess around with the air vehicles by myself with out actually going on a server full of people and trying to get a kit issued to me.

The problem I am running in to is that unless I let people join so that someone can issue the kits I can't fly any of the air vehicles. I understand that this mod is not setup for SP that is why I am trying to host a local server for myself.

Is there a way I can fly the aircraft so that I can check them out with out having to invite people to come on the local server with me?

I have the mod installed on my dedicated box and it runs fine. However I still can't find ways to do this there with out letting players join. All I want is to have some time to mess with the mod in private before I start hosting or playing on live servers.

I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me concerning this question.

Bring down the console with the key next to 1. Type in sv.numplayersneededtostart 1 and get rid of the console. It should start counting down if you did it right.

Make a squad and you can get the pilot kit.

You don't need a pilot kit to fly....

How to play with yourself:

1. Select a 64 size map
2. Press ~ and Type in sv.numplayersneededtostart 1
3. Create your own squad
4. Practice

I appreciate all the feedback guys. I gave it a try and it worked fine.
Now I can practice getting used to how the air vehicle perform before I play on a live server and make a fool of myself...
