when, if im playing vanilla i start to confuse my self.

im constantly scrolling for field dressings to heal others when im not medic,

i was running down the bridge at karkand as usmc, got killed then revived and had a g3 in my hand, i was like WTF im not mec, i didnt switch teams, then i remembered.

it was so disorientating...

I have an answer to your disorientation:

Stop playing Vanilla, seriously the only time I play Vanilla is when friends are over because PR is a bit too slow for a lot of people on one computer. Even then, I hate it.

excepting when I want to see how PR has increased my thinking and aiming. I wanna see how I could pwn the vBF2 nubs xDD

my friend is too stuburn, i got him to dl the 0.4 PR but he didnt like it because it lagged his computer too much and didnt like the respawns.

edit, your aim does increase, but you then need like 10 g3 bullets to kill someone so it has no reall effect in the long term, its still who ever drops and shoots

I haven't played vanilla in ages. I remember playing PRMM .3 all the way back, and then I stopped playing BF2 and mods altogether, since by that time, all of BF2's faults annoyed me to no end. Then, EoD came out, and I dug out my old BF2 DVD and installed that. I used to like EoD for BF42 a lot - it was quite realistic, compared to DC, had a small community of non-smacktard players, and some of the best maps ever made for anything BF42. I then decided to check out where PR managed to get, and I found something way better than the minimod, which I didn't like that much. Needless to say, during all that time, my dislike for BF2 vanilla didn't decrease one bit.

Yeah, thats the problem I had when I tried vBF2 again. I could hit the target everytime time but you need half a clip to take someone down...

PR is the way forward for sure.

I did what everyone should do....... deleted the shortcut to bf2 vanilla.
imo after PR there's just no goin back, i tried it once but it made me cry

I played it a few weeks ago, came first with something like 40-3 using sniper and got accused of hacking and left in disgust.

I always own them when going back to nilla, but then I forgot, that my character smokes so much, that I cant run more than 12 meters, 85% of the opposing team is snipers, who clay the alleys and instaprone in front of you and shoot you with the M95, and if its an IO server, its 99% Karkand and hand grenades flying everywhere...not to mention artillery being deployed by one dumbass every 90 seconds and J10 whores...and then comes the teamkillers...
I actually encountered wall hack cheaters ONCE....but have to say, that it was the last thing, that made my vBF2 disgusting...see above for other..
