Al Basrah .6 needs more RPGs!

There's too many RPGs in Insurgency mode. I can't fly the Merlin for longer than a minute without hearing *whoosh* *whoosh*. Why they're aiming at a Merlin at high altitude with a high speed I'll never know.

There's perfectly good Warriors just sitting down there!

Not a lot of people have found the SA-7 on the Insurgency mode ;)

Someone did...took out a full Merlin :p

Anyway, I like the tension of driving around in a Warrior hoping that I won't be hit by RPGs. Too often, I only have to be careful that they don't try to barbecue me.

I changed my mind. I played a round on Basrah on the insurgents side, and I finally (yeah, I'm slow), figured out where the RPGs are. There's enough methinks.

Honestly, I think there are too many in the map. I rarely drive, but when I do I barely get a few 100 meters away from a conflict before I have a 70 - 85mm Rocket coming at me, and 1 out of a 100 times it misses.
And I also find my self being Tube Nubed twice as much as when it was a Standard Selectable kit, so obviously there is an increase in both abuse and teamwork to keep them supplied enough rockets to kill any Rover we get in the city and me at every corner I turn.

But, I do agree. Shotgun needs a boost and Ambusher needs a Grappling hook since it is in his name, but that isn't for this thread, so please don't derail and or hijack it.

My two cents...

1st cent - I want less RPGs actually. They seem to be everywhere and right next to ammo dumps to boot.
2nd cent - the shotgun is awesome in 0.6. Kills anything in one shot at a reasonable range.

There is nothing the shotgun can do that any other weapon could not do better.

Except kill someone in one shot when aiming for the body. :roll:
