You never said it had to be the enemy shooting you in the face =D

I agree that you should be careful with the limited kits but you can't prevent death no matter how good you are. You will get killed by someone eventually and then they take your kit, now it's not realistic for the kit to disappear but then why is it for the kit to disappear from your armory. When lost shouldn't there be a replacement? But then you'd have lots of kits on the field so I suggest just making the limited kits like vehicles, if it's not yours you can't use it.

Hold a sec here, why would you need the Heavy AT on Basrah!?

When I played the 0.5 Basrah last time, our Insurgent squad found a guy with the SRAW. I took the kit and even had the Humvee (brought by some dumbass sniper) for ammo.

Think, we know what happens, if the Insurgents get their hands on H-AT ;)

What about if you would not be able to acquire ammunition for picked-up enemy weapon?
I doubt H-AT rockets are common in insurgent weapon stashes.

I like the current system just fine. If you loose your kit to the enemy you should pay for it. No an insurgent wouldn't know how to use a H-AT kit IRL but you can bet that they would take it back with them. They might turn it into an ied or just hold onto it.

Im also pretty sure that if you lost a specialized kit that yes there would be a replacment available. The replacment would not be 2 minutes away though, I would imagine the paperwork and time involved to get a replacement H-AT would rather lengthy.

The insurgents probably play AA:SF, so they might actually be capable of firing a jav! :p

Also, if you lost a specialized kit in real life, I doubt you'd care much about the replacement...

insurgents might not be able to use certain weapons, but they sure aswell are going to take em , they not gunna leave em there so some US or brit comes along and takes it then kills him l8r with it.

and tbh, they could learn how to use weapons , they could google it if they wanted it, and insurgent training camps they could learn....
