What do you need for a linux version? Something zipped instead of self extracting win32 executable?

I have a problem: I was made the download of BF2 patch 1.12 to become able to run PRMM 0.2. Whend begin to intall BF2 pacth 1.12 a error window say:

"Can´t find install folder for BF2(TM)." And the installation is cancelled.

My BF2 game are in the right path, so I can´t solve the problem. Did I need do install the older patches 1.02 and 1.03?
