Some vehicle ideas for the PLA:

Post by Gunwing »

Ok here is my list for vehicles that could be added for the PLA in the near future:

ATMP: The USMC/Insugents get combat bikes so this would be a good counter:

BJ2020S HJ-8 missile carrier: The USMC/US Army get a HMMWV with tow so this would agian be another good match up for the PLA:

ZBD2000: This vehicle would be a fun one to have on urban maps for the PLA. As unlike the current PLA APC we have no coax MG like all the other APCs do. Also BF2 takes place in the near future so adding this would be a fun change to the PLA.

MI-171: currently the PLA use the old and way outa date MI-8 chopper for their transport needs. I would much rather them use the one they currently field in combat Ie this one. They even mounted rocket pods and MGs to this one.

SA342: I know we use the chopper from BF2:AF but to be truly real to life we should be useing this one for small ground attack choppers:

The Mi-8 and the Mi-17 are roughly the same helos, so that's probably not a high priority.

Yeh I totally agree, an overhaul of vehicles for the chinese is needed. Me personally would recommend some form of bicycle, whether it be a Beijing passenger taxi bicycle or the common Ti SpeedDemon version bicycle.

Ah yeah. Would be nice match up to the TOW humvee.

Though I am happy with each army having their own better things if thats reality.

Possibly a bad comparison but like a bit more Starcraft and a bit less Total Annihilation.

I agree, the taxi with tow would be great for hunting tanks!

The bike should also drain stamina as you accelarate, double as much with the HJ-8 mounted on it.

If someone can model a bicycle and get it to work in BF2, Devs could add it as an easter egg to a PLA map.
