ZOMG ZOMG ZOMG! I solved my problem!

It was asking for a lightmapatlas.tai, so i gave it one :D
basicly I created a .txt and renamed it lightmapatlas.tai then I ziped it inside the client.zip/lightmaps/objects map and it worked.

YAAAAAAY!

yes. and try what the post above you did... i really dont know why this is so hard

(not mad at you guys, durr) why is the EDITOR and BF2 so much of a ****?.....

let me guess, BF2 being a pain in the *** is hardcoded...

Confirmation! adding in your own lightmapatlas.tai inside the client.zip/lightmaps/objects folder worked for ty2d2 also! hmm... i guess I'll do this myself and reupload?

rambo and anyone else who might not be done downloading, im sorry... im gonna delete the current one and place the updated one with the false .tai file in there... so... sorry if youre in the middle of dl'ing... :(

but, hopefully this works... and i guess everyone should redownload? right?

ok, like i said, or maybe didnt say... its got like... 40 minutes or so... so check my filefront then.

please check the new download later? its got... it says its completed.... but i think it failed... will try again. drat. i'll have it start uploading before I go to bed tonight so it is uninterrupted with PC/net use

ugh. error. duplicate file on filefront even though i deleted the other one, i guess it didnt clear it from the site... even though it no longer shows up. trying again. i love how it waited til like half way to detect that... *sigh*

roger. im sad. add the fact that apparently, many of the statics of the crash sites are off the ground (even though they were something i ALWAYS checked) :( ohhh well......... HW time. 15 minutes on the upload. maybe it'll work this time. it's only 1130... im not too worried.

Manually place the file into the server.zip, its there, it just didnt get packed....

New file is up. Sorry for all these posts, honestly.

I was hoping once i had the map working on my end that there wouldnt be any more problems. *Doh*

Please, let me know how this download works for you all. The format is a bit different. Theres no Black_Hawk_Down folder, but the zip is called that, so if unzipped into the PR/levels folder it should add in the zips name (Black_Hawk_Down as a folder to put it all into)

AND i'm done with my HW :)

well it crashes everytime i press start server. Even on 16 player ive tried and same problem so i replaced the lightmapatlas.tai file and still it crashes. Can you help me?

in the editor, go compile>ligthmaps>generate lightmap atlas

and also in the editor go compile>generate overgrowth atlas.

reason why some ppl can load is cos they have the GFX set to textuers on low, so they dont need to load the lightmap files.

also dont forget to repack the map after u do that :)

Just so everyone knows, if youv'e been following, you'll understand already, but I have to make some changes, repack the map, and reupload it for distribution.

This should only take a matter of an hour or so, but I am at school, have class, and have a girlfriend that was VERY considerate yesterday as I was fighting to get this map up and running in the public. SO,

I can't guarantee how soon the fixed map will be out. Hopefully very soon, as in a day/12 hours or two days.

P.S. TY2D2 and I played it LAN'd through Hamachi last night and it was fun. We'' see if the amount of RPG's(currently 6) is enough. It was fun though.
