How to aim with the grenade launcher

ya u can do taht if u find a nice spot and have alot of ammo. i did it once on Basra. Sat on a high building and fired naeds into mosque and other ares of the city where the were hiding.

Remember though guys, don't spam the damned thing. I try never to use more than 3 nade rounds in a row, then i'd switch the the rifle if i could make the shot.
Some Nadier kits are better than others, for example the PLA one has a sight for the QBZ, as opposed to JUST a UGL.

I heard that the proper way to fire specifically an M203 is that you have to aline the correct bracket (the thing he flips up) with the forward sights( the iron sights at the front of your weapon). This almost works on ArmA, but since you cant look directly down the sights through the brackets, you have to shoot it like a mortar from the hip.

Gee, it sure would be dandy if the DEVs made it so you could look down the sights and through the bracket of the UGL huh :razz: *hint hint*.

you wouldnt be able to change the elevation so it sould be pointless

Pressing right click would change the position of the rifle/ the angle at which you perceive it? (animation nightmare)

i used this in BFV and it seems to work the same in PR, try aiming the M203 just over the target, like an *** hair above it and it should get a hit and kill the target (if its infantry) if it doesnt kill them it should at least make them run for cover

thats the exact tactic i use,

And i found out today that if you shoot an explosive at a little bird, the little bird will explode

ha got me 4 kills on qwai

Or get pr_sp set up and nub tube the bots :D

Basically, you don't really need a lot of skills to operate the UGL, main thing, you have to do, is crouch and be still before firing, else the grenade will fly into the wall, bounce off on and land on top of your SL's head and TK your whole squad.
Problem with this is, the longer you stay still, more chances, you'll get shot, especially, when the enemy is aware of you.

I remember doing something similar on bf2 before it got changed to have a timer. Does the charge explode on contact with a vehicle, I miss so often now its not often I would use it like that

Today I wiped out a squad 20 feet away with a GL then fired my next shot and it went about 2 feet, dribbled onto the floor and blew up in my face :o ops:
I've still not figured how to get consistency
